This Privacy Policy explains how MASHDIV ("MashDiv", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with this website and the demonstration platform hosted at demo.mashdiv.com.
In short. This site is a demonstration of our software, not a live trading service. It holds no client money, executes no real trades, and is not a broker or a financial institution.
We collect only what we need to operate the demonstration and support you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
1. Who we are
MashDiv develops and licenses trading-platform software. Our customers are companies that install and operate that software on their own infrastructure. We are the data controller for personal information processed through this website and the demonstration platform.
- Legal entity: MASHDIV
- Registered address: An Najaf, Kufa
- Contact: support@mashdiv.com
Where a company licenses our software and operates its own platform, that company — not MashDiv — is the controller of its own users' data. This policy does not govern those independent deployments, and we have no access to them.
2. What this website is
The platform at demo.mashdiv.com is provided solely to demonstrate the features of our software to prospective and existing licensees. All balances, instruments, orders and positions are simulated or run against broker demonstration environments. No real funds are held, deposited, withdrawn or traded, and nothing on this site constitutes a financial service or an offer to provide one.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account information — name, email address, and a hashed password when you register a demonstration account.
- Profile information — any optional details you choose to add, such as a phone number, country, avatar or display preferences.
- Verification material — if you choose to exercise the identity-verification feature within the demonstration, any documents or details you submit. Please do not upload genuine identity documents to a demonstration environment; use placeholder material.
- Correspondence — messages, support tickets and any information you send us by email or through the site.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, language, and time zone.
- Usage data — pages viewed, features exercised, timestamps, and referring pages.
- Security and diagnostic logs — authentication events, error traces and audit records generated by the platform.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see section 6.
3.3 Demonstration activity
Simulated orders, positions and balances you generate while exploring the platform are stored against your demonstration account so the interface behaves realistically. This data has no financial value and may be reset at any time.
3.4 What we do not collect
We do not request or process payment card numbers, bank account details, or genuine source-of-funds documentation on this demonstration site.
4. How and why we use your information
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Creating and maintaining your demonstration account | Performance of a contract |
| Operating, securing and troubleshooting the platform | Legitimate interests |
| Responding to enquiries and providing support | Legitimate interests / contract |
| Preventing abuse, fraud and unauthorised access | Legitimate interests |
| Understanding which features are used, to improve the product | Legitimate interests |
| Sending product or commercial messages, where you have asked for them | Consent |
| Meeting legal, tax and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation |
We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile you for advertising.
5. Third-party services
The demonstration platform connects to a small number of external services in order to function:
- Market-data and brokerage APIs (including Spotware's cTrader Open API, operated against demonstration accounts). These supply prices and instrument data. No personal information about any site visitor is transmitted to them at any time.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, which process data on our instructions in order to run the servers, databases and caches behind the site.
- Email delivery providers, used to send account and support messages.
These providers act as processors under written terms, may use your information only to provide their service to us, and may not use it for their own purposes.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and equivalent browser storage for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary — signing you in, keeping your session active, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. The site cannot function without these.
- Preferences — remembering your language, theme and interface settings.
- Analytics — where enabled, aggregate measurement of how the demonstration is used.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
7. When we disclose information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We disclose it only:
- to the service providers described in section 5, acting on our instructions;
- where required by law, regulation, court order or a valid request from a competent authority;
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to investigate abuse of the platform;
- to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets, subject to this policy;
- with your consent, or at your direction.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure and service providers may be located outside your country of residence. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision — and take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described here.
9. How long we keep information
- Demonstration accounts and activity — retained while the account is in use, and routinely purged after a period of inactivity. Demonstration data may be reset without notice.
- Support correspondence — retained while needed to resolve your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Security and audit logs — retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.
- Records we must keep by law — retained for the period the relevant law requires.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to a demonstration environment, including encryption of traffic in transit, hashed password storage, role-based access control, permission-gated administrative functions, and audit logging of administrative actions. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; please do not place sensitive or genuine personal documents on this site.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to support@mashdiv.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for making a request. We may need to verify your identity first. You can also delete a demonstration account yourself at any time from your account settings.
12. Children
This site is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Links to other sites
This site links to other properties we operate, such as our documentation and support portals, and to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not control; please read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be signposted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
